I’m always looking for quick and easy homemade baby food recipes. I found a recipe similar to this one but I adapted it to fit our needs and it came out really well!
I love that I usually have all of the ingredients on hand already so there’s no need to run to the store!
These berry oat muffins are easy to make and come together in just 20 minutes!
Toddler Berry Oat Muffins
Fast and Easy Breakfast or Snack for Toddlers!
Ingredients:
1 and 1/4 cups quick oats
1 large ripe banana
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 large egg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup mixed berries (I buy frozen and defrost before mixing in)
2 tbsp maple syrup (optional!)
Process:
Put all ingredients into a food processor and pulse together to make a thick batter. Pour into a greased muffin tin with paper liners. Bake on 350 for 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm with unsalted butter. Store in fridge up to 5 days or freezer up to 2 weeks!
