Hello Friend,
The holidays are finally upon us which means you’re probably busy making a list of who you want to spoil this season. If you know someone who is going to be pregnant around the holidays, you’ve probably already started googling: holiday gifts for expecting moms. If you haven’t, your first thought might be to visit the mama-to-be’s baby registry and get her something from there, or adding to her stockpile of diapers, because babies poop.
I’m here to tell you that while those types of gifts will be greatly appreciated, if you want to truly make mama feel great, you should think about getting her a gift that is actually FOR HER. Right now she is focused on the arrival of her baby and might not be as focused on herself and her needs. You can take this opportunity to make her feel special and relaxed during the stressful holiday season.
Do you want her to feel amazing when she received your gift? Give her one of these 8 gifts for expecting moms and she just might shed a tear of joy (and will be totally grateful!). Psst—- any mamas-to-be reading this one, feel free to share this post and hopefully you too can receive one of these awesome gifts! 🙂

When you think about gifts, try to steer clear of the “cheesy” mommy and me gifts and look for something that is just for mama. Can you go wrong with a stylish and meaningful jewelry piece? I think not!View this post on InstagramI love to sleep because every night I dream about spending time with Fawny. 🖤
This gift is especially exciting for first time mom’s since they have never gotten the honor of being called “Mama”. I got my Made By Mary Mama necklace for my birthday and have been wearing it daily ever since. Even though Baby Fawny hasn’t arrived yet I am still super excited to be called Mama. - A relaxing spa day
With this period of transition can come a lot of stress. That’s why the second gift on this list is a relaxing spa day for the mama-to-be! While she may not be able to enjoy the sauna or hot tub during pregnancy, prenatal massage may be a great gift option to help melt away her stress and bring peace to her body. Groupon sometimes has great deals on massage packages so I would check there for your local spas. - At home foot bath
Imagine giving mama the gift of soothing her tired feet while enjoying Christmas movies and Christmas cookies. Ahhh that sounds nice. If you don’t want to give a spa gift card because you want mama to be spoiled long term, the next best thing is an at home foot bath! Her feet are going to be aching every night so this will be a great treat for her to enjoy after being on her feet all day. Be sure to go for one with a few extra bells and whistles such as massage, bubbles and heating! Don’t forget the Epsom salts!
4. The softest bathrobe you can find
Who says you need to go to a fancy hotel to enjoy the luxury of an ever-so-soft and fluffy bathrobe? Get mama the softest robe that you can find. You can buy one online or head over to your local TJ Maxx or Marshalls since they tend to have nice ones for an affordable price. She will feel cozy during the holidays and beyond! This will allow her to feel relaxed and also will give easy access for her to breastfeed or enjoy skin-to-skin when her bundle of joy arrives.

5. A gourmet chocolate gift set
Because what woman wouldn’t want to indulge in the finest chocolates! Skip the Russell Stover and get the good stuff! My personal recommendation is Godiva. They have beautiful gift boxes that will send mama straight to the heavens as she indulges in some quality chocolates! Don’t be offended if she doesn’t want to share! -
6. High quality sheets
When the baby comes, both mom and dad might not be getting a ton of sleep. Help them both out by getting a great high quality bedding set to make what little time they get to sleep a restful and comfortable one. High quality sheets are just one of those things that most people dream about but don’t actually want to pay for. This will for sure be a game changer (and maybe you should get yourself a set too!).
7. A meal subscription gift card
Even when I wasn’t pregnant, I loved how easy meal kits like HelloFresh made weeknight cooking. Get mama a gift card to your favorite meal subscription service that she can use either before or after the baby arrives. This will allow her to have healthy home cooked meals without the headache of planning and grocery shopping (perfect for when she wants to stay home with her newborn babe!).
Here is a list of some of the most popular meal subscriptions kits. Take a look through them to find one that you think mama will love the most. They have tons of options for special dietary needs as well!

8. House Cleaning Service
The first (and only) time I hired a cleaning service to clean my house, I was in HEAVEN. Three ladies came in and cleaned my home from top to bottom in 2 hours. I felt a little strange at first like I should be helping but I thoroughly enjoyed it. That’s why I plan to use a cleaning service again after the baby comes to make my life a bit easier when I just want to focus on my sweet bundle.
I have a few cleaning services that are local to me so you might want to research what’s in mama’s area and get her a gift card from one of her local cleaners. I can guarantee that this is going to make her life soooo much easier and will be 100% appreciated!
As a mom-to-be myself, I can guarantee that any of these gifts on this list of gifts for expecting moms is going to make someone special very happy. I hope you choose one of these gifts to spoil your favorite mama-to-be this holiday season!
Leave a comment and let me know which one you plan on buying or if you’re a mama, which gift would you LOVE to get?
